Haile opened Forge Jiu Jitsu in Chatham, VA in July 2020. He currently holds the rank of Brown Belt and has been training Brazilian jiu jitsu for the last 14 years, currently under Team Rubao Carioca. Coach Haile is an active competitor at both IBJJF competitions and other local and regional tournaments. In addition to traditional BJJ he also enjoys the 10th Planet style of No-Gi jiu jitsu, training at 10th Planet Henderson NC. During the day, Haile can be found working behind a desk as an attorney – but on most mornings and nearly every evening you will find him on the mats at Forge instructing or at Nomad Jiu Jitsu (Lynchburg, VA) and 10th Planet Henderson training. Forge Jiu Jitsu also offers classes in Kettlebells, Functional Strength, and HIIT. Coach Haile especially enjoys the Kettlebell classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights and is SFG I StrongFirst certified kettlebell instructor.
