Aliea Lewis- Yoga Instructor Bio
Aliea Lewis has been practicing yoga since moving to Danville in 2011. It started as a way to supplement her routine of weightlifting and cardio, but quickly turned into something more. Yoga became a way of reconnecting to her body, and a chance to quiet her mind. Over the years, she alternated between home and in-studio practices.
During the Covid shutdown, Aliea took the time to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training under Michelle Young of My Vinyasa Practice. Her primary focus is in USAA-style yoga, and has recently begun teaching standup paddle board yoga. She believes that every body is a yoga body, and she encourages anyone who wants to explore yoga to join her on the mats and enjoy the journey.
